If the changing season has you dreaming of a design makeover at home—and the start of a new school year has you itching to learn something new—you’re in luck: designer Corey Damen Jenkins‘ interior design MasterClass launches on the streaming platform today.
In his class, which is only the second MasterClass taught by an interior designer (Kelly Wearstler was the first), Jenkins will teach members how to design bold, functional spaces that reflect their own unique style.

Using a living room showroom he designed specifically for the class, Jenkins pulls back the curtain on his design process, detailing his approach to space planning, coordinating color, harmonizing pattern, and placing furniture and lighting. The designer also shares how to shop for home furnishings and how to stay on budget for both professional and DIY design projects.
While acknowledging the investment of time and money interior design requires, Jenkins notes that his goal is to ensure students feel confident they’re making the right decisions the first time around.
“Whenever I’m explaining the design process, I love seeing people’s eyes light up as they creatively download an ‘Aha!’ moment,” says Jenkins, a natural teacher who also mentors design students.
“So many people find themselves paralyzed from overanalyzing, and when they learn something new, it’s like a weight has been lifted from their shoulders. That’s the moment they realize just how joyful and fulfilling interior design and decoration can be. It’s very satisfying whenever I can help someone achieve that breakthrough.”
But what makes Jenkins’ class so compelling is his infectious enthusiasm for the craft, his genuine belief that beautiful design has the power to change our lives, and his belief that it should accessible to everyone. His conviction has never felt more relevant.
“Enjoying beautiful interiors is one of life’s most precious gifts, and I believe we’re all worth the investment!” says Jenkins. “The pandemic amplified the value of surrounding ourselves with only the things and people we love the most. At the end of the day, we each only have one life to live, and it feels like we’re all emerging from these historic events with a renewed appreciation and vigor for living the very best life possible.”
