Trending News: People often make changes to their homes to make them look nicer and fit their style. Recently, a person in England decided to change parts of his house, especially the kitchen. But when they started digging the floor for renovations, something unexpected happened.

Uncovering the Mystery

As the workers dug deeper, they heard a strange noise. At first, they thought it was just rocks or bricks. But as they cleared away the dirt, they found something amazing buried beneath their house.

A Historic Find

Betty and Robert Fox, who lived in Dorset, UK, had bought a new home. They needed to fix some things, so they hired workers to renovate. While digging up the concrete floor, they found a shiny ceramic pot filled with over 1000 gold and silver coins.

Valuable Treasures from the Past

Robert wanted to know more about the coins, so he consulted an expert. The expert thought the coins might have been hidden during the First Civil War. Robert sent the coins to the British Museum, where they were cleaned and dated back to the 1640s. Later, they were auctioned off for around Rs 63 lakh.
